Wednesday, October 15th – Thursday, October 16th, 2026 World Tour Days: 348 – 349 Day 1: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Hike Bright and early at 4:15am Nick and I were picked up for our Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley hiking tour. The rest of our group canceled the day before so we ended up getting a private tour. We laughed about that because we feel like it happens to us all the time for busy activities. We’ll take it! Saturday, October 11th – Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 World Tour Days: 344 – 347 Day 0: Arrival DAy Our night bus from Nazca was 15.5 hours long, mostly on the windiest roads we’ve experienced. Besides the nausea, though, it went smoothly. Once we woke up, and by we I mean me since Nick didn’t really sleep, we opened the curtains and got to watch outside. Wednesday, October 8th – Friday, October 10th, 2025 World Tour Days: 341 – 343 We weren’t done spending time in the desert, but made our way to a new location. Our bus journey was only about 3 hours long, which was something we knew we couldn’t get used to. Most of our busses in Peru after this one would be 10+ hours each. Once we arrived to our new destination of Nazca we checked in to our hotel (where we would enjoy rooftop breakfasts), then headed straight for dinner. Monday, October 6th – Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 World Tour Days: 339 – 340 After an amazing several days eating as much as we could in Lima, it was time to hit the road and begin our journey south. I was happy we went to the bus station early as it was a bit chaotic. Even though we already had tickets we had to wait in line to get printed ones from the desk.
