Tuesday, November 4th – Friday, November 7th, 2025 World Tour Days: 368 – 371 Day 1: Arrival Day in Arequipa The night bus was absolutely hustling! I don’t know if the bus drivers get a bonus for being early or what, but we arrived almost 1 hour early to Arequipa. We arrived so early I was still sound asleep curled up cozy in my sleeping bag when we pulled in. It was a little jarring since I had an alarm for 30 minutes prior to scheduled arrival. Friday, October 31st – Monday, November 3rd, 2025 World Tour Days: 364 – 367 Day 1: Rest Day in Cusco After 14 days of hiking in the Cusco area we were finally done with hiking trips. They were all wonderful, but a rest day was the best. We caught up on laundry and other boring things that pile up. The only food we ate were our favorites, too. Lunch was sandwiches and juice from our favorite place down the road. Dinner was the beef cheeks, pasta, and scallops from OSDA. A recovery day doesn’t get much better than that. Day…

Saturday, October 25th – Thursday, October 30th World Tour Days: 358 – 363 Day 0: Rest Day & Hike Debrief After returning from Aguas Calientes the night before, we were happy to have a full day with no plans. It was tempting to fill it with other activities as there is so much to do around Cusco, but the rest was much needed. The distance includes all miles during the day, both distance to get to camp and distance covered for any day hikes from camp.
