Tuesday, March 4th – Friday, March 7th, 2025 World Tour Days 120- 125 The drive from Wadi Musa to Wadi Rum was easy with no traffic. After parking our car in Rum Village our host for the next few days loaded us up in the back of his pickup truck. The truck had welded benches with cushions in the back. Saturday, March 1st – Monday, March 3rd, 2025 World Tour Days 118 – 120 After finishing up in Amman, Nick, Deb, Jeff, and I started the drive to Wadi Musa, the village we would have as a home base to explore Petra. On the drive we stopped at Qasr Al-Harranah, a castle built before 710 A.D in the middle of nowhere. We got to explore inside, which had empty rooms and stairwells all facing into an open courtyard. Wednesday, February 26th – Friday, February 28th, 2025 World Tour Days 115 -117 Nick and I departed Alexandria, Egypt, our last stop on the African section of our ‘world tour’, and made our way to Amman, Jordan: our first stop in Asia. The flight was direct and short, which was nice. Even better was that Nick’s parents were waiting for us at the hotel! We got to enjoy all of our Jordan adventures together, which was wonderful. Saturday, February 22nd – Tuesday, February 25th, 2025 World Tour Days 111 – 114 After six amazing days scuba diving in the Red Sea Nick and I made the long journey to Alexandria. We first got driven ten hours to Cairo, then another 2 and a half hours to Alexandria. The drivers were all so friendly and generous, the customer service in Egypt was nothing short of exceptional when we were there. Our accommodation was a bedroom in an apartment in downtown, a short walk from the waterfront. The room was cozily decorated with its furniture but otherwise frigid in…
