Friday, May 2nd – Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 World Tour Days 181 – 182 After one more chaotic breakfast at our hotel in Alishan our taxi picked us up for the 2.5 hour drive to Sun Moon Lake. We had booked at a hostel, but they must of been fully booked because they took us to a lakeside resort under the same name instead. It was a wonderful surprise upgrade. Wednesday, April 30th – Thursday, May 1st, 2025 World Tour Day 179 – 180 Our morning started with a final meal from our Shizhuo tea farm bed and breakfast. We enjoyed some tea from their farm and the same food items as the night before. They also had a machine that would fry you some eggs that looked like an old school scanning machine. Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 World Tour Day 178 Fenqihu We had little rest in Taipei, which was our own fault for wanting to see as much as we could. That trend continued into our next day which was our tea farm area day. We took the 6:30am high speed train to Chiayi. Once we arrived I thought I was being smart and decluttering my purse by throwing away our tickets. Learn from our mistake, hold on to all train or bus tickets! Sunday, April 27th – Monday, April 28th, 2025 World Tour Days 176 – 177 Bright and early at 4:00am we had our flight from Manila to our newest country, landing in Taipei, Taiwan at 6:00am. A short direct flight for a travel day is always a nice convenience, although I am sure there are better ways to start off a 30th birthday. Happy birthday, Nick!
